Much like myself, my family liked to go and have their own adventures too. For years we each enjoyed our own thing in pioneering new territory: Counseling young students, opening new businesses, living abroad, contributing to disaster relief efforts, kicking a** while undercover, and traveling the globe. Once in awhile we even enjoyed the three...I mean four...no, FIVE-way telephone conversations in order to keep up with each other. Though living in four different time zones made this a rare occasion ;) And then, just like that...
...these two guys came along. And everything changed.
So now instead of being spread apart between Indiana, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona and Iraq -- together we have managed to shorten the distance between us just a little.

Dad came home from Iraq and traveled straight to FL where he got to meet his first grandson for the very first time. Less than a week later he was in Indiana -- just in time for grandson #2's birth :-)
